Cela Gay Langford

Cela Gay Langford, 52, of Prescott, died of renal cancer Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000, at her home in Prescott.

She was born May 18, 1948, in Phoenix, to Alfred B. and Dorothy (Cook) Waldrep.

Mrs. Langford owned and operated the Reflections Hair Salon for 20 years and was hair designer for the Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home for 15 years. She also served as the mainstay hair and make-up artist for Prescott Fine Arts Association productions.

She performed tap dancing in various productions at the PFAA and starred as Zelda in the PFAA musical "Singin' In The Rain."

Mrs. Langford's family, friends and clients knew her to have an even temperament, irreverent sense of humor and a warm and loving nature.

Surviving are her husband of 31 years, Donald; sons, Dax of Tempe and Kyle of Laguna Hills, Calif.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Prescott Fine Arts Association Theater.

The family suggests donations to Prescott Fine Arts Association, 208 N. Marina St., Prescott, AZ 86301, in the name of Cela Langford.
